Structural Engineer

KMV Engineering is looking for a structural engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving problems, and getting work across the finish line.

We're a growing structural engineering firm based in Dallas working on industrial, manufacturing, aviation, mission-critical, commercial, education, and specialty projects across the country.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Structural analysis and design

  • Preparation of calculations and construction documents

  • BIM/Revit coordination and model review

  • Coordination with architects, contractors, owners, and specialty consultants

  • Site observations and construction-phase support

  • Managing project scope, schedule, and deliverables

  • Pays attention to details without losing sight of the bigger picture

  • Enjoys working on a variety of project types

  • Wants responsibility, not just assignments

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and consistently moves projects forward.

Experience

We're open to a range of experience levels.

Early Career (2–5 Years)

Looking to build technical skills, gain project experience, and grow under experienced mentorship.

Mid-Level (5–10 Years)

Able to independently execute significant portions of projects and coordinate directly with clients and design teams.

Senior-Level (10+ Years)

Capable of leading projects, mentoring younger staff, and driving successful project delivery with minimal oversight.
